BEING A FIREFIGHTER DOESN'T JUST APPLY TO MEN! OUR DEPARTMENT HAS WOMEN FIREFIGHTERS TOO! OUR MEMBERS ARE QUALIFIED TO GO INSIDE BUILDING FIRES, OR BE EXTERIOR MEMBERS, EXTERIOR MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE TO GO INSIDE A BURNING BUILDING. IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO PUT OUT FIRES, THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU!

OUR DEPARTMENT HAS MEMBERS THAT ALSO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SCENE SUPPORT. THOSE MEMBERS MAY BE DOING TRAFFIC CONTROL, HELP CLEAN UP AFTER FIRES OR PROVIDE ADMINISTRATION DUTIES ONLY. THE CHOICES ARE UP TO YOU!

Those interested in joining the Kiantone Ind. Fire Dept. may pick up an application at the fire station any Monday or Tuesday night after 7pm. This application is accompanied by a $10 administration fee for processing of your application. After we receive your application a member of the membership committee will contact you to discuss job positions and opportunities in the organization. A interview will also be conducted with you by the department membership committee.
